Activities
Whilst Greenwell Point is a quaint fishing village there is still plenty to do for everyone. Of course being a fishing village, there is always fishing for the avid fisherman. There is also water activities from boating to kayaking and swimming, both in the river and local swimming pool. With the oyster farms, Greenwell Point is the perfect place to enjoy the delicious molluscs.
Apart from swimming, the children will love the walk around the rivers edge and playing in the park. However, if they are looking for something a little more, both Culburra and Calalla beaches are only a 10 minute drive with bus services for those more independant teenagers.
There are many day trips to be taken to such places as Berry and Kangaroo Valley, Jervis Bay and Ulladulla.
One can usually find at least one local market operating on any given weekend.
Whether it is history, unique shopping, eating experiences or wanting to keep the kids entertained there is plenty to do.
Both the local club and pubs are great places to eat, relax and listen to music. There are also a couple of cafe's down near the water front.
